I am married and have four grown children. We have lived in our current home for over 20 years. I was born and raised in California but spent three years in Virginia after I was married. I think I am an easterner at heart. My children have attended schools all over the country and we have enjoyed visiting them wherever they have been. There are beautiful places in every state we have visited.
I love to decorate, read, quilt, bake and spend time with family and friends.
I love handwritten letters, slow cooked foods, anything old fashioned, history, beautiful gardens, fine linens, art, and most of all my family!
Hi Paula! Your home is beautiful! I love your hubby's Koi pond. One day I want a water feature! I love that you have hens. My grandmother lived across the street from us and kept chickens. My sister and I used to love to gather the eggs. I am glad Kathysue sent us your way. You have quite a friend there. I hope you can convince her to start a blog, too. Thanks for sharing...Debbie
