All of my "favorites" that I have posted were gifts from my husband.  This lamp we found on a trip to Carmel.  I am a huge fan of Ester Hunt - an artist from the 30's in San Francisco.  This chalk bust is not one of her pieces but it looks very much like her work.  I love the shade too!

    I've never seen a shade shaped like this. It is unusual to me, but I really like it. I would think it is quite a conversation piece.

    I have the same chalkware bust! Mine isn't a lamp and after seeing yours, I'm so inspired to turn mine into one! The shade that you have is absolutely wonderful and perfect for her!! Vanna
